One of my favorite memories of the Gamecube era was gathering four friends and four Gameboy Advance + Link Cables, and huddling up in front of the television to play Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. At the time, Gamecube to GBA connectivity was all the rage. Well, all the rage may be going a little bit too far. Nintendo touted the connectivity feature as being groundbreaking, and at the time in many ways it was, but unfortunately not many people were able to take advantage of it due to how relatively expensive it was to gather together all the necessary equipment required to fully take advantage of the feature.

Golden Sun might be the best RPG series to grace any Nintendo console. Well it's my favorite anyways.
If you couldn't tell by now, RPGs are kind of my thing. There is just something about interacting with a good plot that you can't get in any other medium that makes video games so great, and almost no genre has better storytelling (usually) than RPGs. That and they usually have a pretty wicked musical score, case in point Golden Sun for the Game Boy Advance.

Secret of Mana is the bee's knees, isn't a secret that the music is fantastic
There are many wonderful video games on the SNES, which just so happens to be my favorite video game console, but Secret of Mana holds a special place in my heart. Well, I actually have a confession. I didn't play a game in the Mana series until the GBA remake of Final Fantasy Adventure, Sword of Mana. After that, I was hooked. I went to my local pawn shop to by a version of Secret of Mana, and left when then didn't have it. I looked all over the city trying to find myself a copy, and ended up buying a ridiculously expensive copy on ebay.
